Not many historical buildings have been preserved in Loev, but there are still interesting objects, for example, the oldest house in the urban village, which belonged to the merchant Naum Dolgin and is listed in the Republican Register of Architectural Monuments.
This noteworthy building was built in 1847. The restoration of the merchant's house lasted 7 years. A new life at the building began on the 500th anniversary of Loev, in 2004. Now it houses the regional and children's libraries, the regional department of culture.
